Diagnostic Challenge: Identifying Objects in Stool

A parasitology clinical case: inclusions found in stool samples from a patient with anemia and dyspepsia. Identify the microscopic findings.

An anonymous question from a subscriber. Dear colleagues, please help identify the objects found. I suspect Diphyllobothrium latum eggs, but no contents are visible, which raises doubts. However, the clinical picture is very characteristic: abdominal pain, nausea, perverted appetite, anemia (hemoglobin 57 g/L). 1 photo - Kato method, 10x magnification 2-3 photos - Kato method, 40x magnification 4 photo - Lugol’s solution, 40x magnification 5 photo - Lugol’s solution, 10x magnification
