Clinical case of a patient with anemia and leukopenia: hypercellular bone marrow and signs of dysmegakaryocytopoiesis in cytology.
The patient is being examined for anemia of unknown origin. Complete blood count shows anemia and leukopenia. Bone marrow is hypercellular, with proliferation of erythroid cells. Mixed hematopoiesis. Megakaryocytes with signs of dysmegakaryocytopoiesis are observed – with multiple small nuclei.
