Yeast-like Fungi in Coprogram: Fecal Microscopy

A veterinary clinical case: elongated micro-objects, approximately 23 µm, found in dog feces during enteropathy under therapy.

Native fecal smear, elongated capsule-like structures measuring 22.75 µm

A question from a subscriber. What are these micro-objects in the feces of a dog with chronic large intestinal enteropathy? The dog is currently taking Enterol (saccharomycetes). Could these objects be saccharomycetes from Enterol? Or is it a different type of fungus?

🙏 Questions are kindly asked by veterinarian Natalia Podalnikova, Balakovo.
