Eosinophilic Myelocyte: Morphology and Granulogenesis

Explore the morphological features of eosinophilic myelocytes: nuclear structure, Golgi zone, and the ratio of immature proeosinophilic to mature orange granules.

🔬Eosinophilic myelocyte with abundant elongated cytoplasm😍.

✅The nucleus is round, eccentric, with partially condensed chromatin, especially in relation to the nuclear membrane.

✅The cytoplasm contains very numerous mature orange granules, packed around the paranuclear area, in which an agranular pale Golgi zone is clearly visible.

✅In the right part of the cytoplasm are larger immature proeosinophilic granules of a pinkish-gray or dark purple color, which actually formed first and are pushed to the periphery by newly formed mature granules.
