Erythroblastic Island in Bone Marrow Aspirate

Cytological features of bone marrow aspirate: large erythroblastic island, binucleated normoblasts, and pronounced megakaryocyte polymorphism.

🔬 BONE MARROW ASPIRATE Polymorphism of megakaryocytes and a huge accumulation of erythrokaryocytes – an erythroblastic island (macrophage surrounded by normoblasts) – were of interest. Binucleated erythroblasts are present.
