CML. Chronic myeloid leukemia in a 63-year-old patient. Complete blood count shows leukocytosis with a left shift to myelocytes (photos 6,7). Bone marrow (photos 1, 2,3,4) is rich in cellular elements, polymorphic. Against a background of high cellularity, proliferation of granulocytic cells is enhanced (74.7%), without maturation disturbance (ISN 0.6). Erythroid and lymphoid lineages are narrowed. Erythropoiesis is normoblastic. Megakaryocytic lineage is unchanged, with preserved functional activity.
