❗Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). An incidental finding from an Israeli clinic. ✅A 50-year-old man visited the polyclinic for a preventive check-up. His last blood test was 2 years ago. ✅In the peripheral blood, we found:
- Leukocytes (WBC) 203×10^9/L !
- Hemoglobin (Hb) 100 g/L,
- Platelets (PLT) 969×10^9/L.
🔬Blood smear photograph - in one field, all granulocytes (all stages of neutrophilic granulocyte maturation) and a lymphocyte. ✅During the hematologist’s examination, he reported no complaints and felt well. Objectively: splenomegaly. ✅Molecular analysis: BCR-ABL1 positive.
