A 48-year-old patient from the hematology department, diagnosed with myeloma. Complete blood count without abnormalities. In the bone marrow aspirate, the lymphoid lineage is normal – 8.2% mature lymphocytes. The erythroid lineage is hyperplastic – 50.6% of all erythroblasts. Many macrophages (photos 1,3,4,6,7,8). Photo 2 shows an intercellular bridge between basophilic normoblasts, photo 5 shows a mitotic figure, and photo 10 shows a megakaryocyte and a plasma cell.
