Lymphoproliferative Disease: Bone Marrow Morphology

Clinical case of lymphoproliferative disease in a 68-year-old female patient: leukocytosis 150×10⁹/L, 87% atypical lymphoid cells in bone marrow aspirate.

A 68-year-old female patient is being examined for lymphoproliferative disease, with peripheral leukocytosis: 150×10⁹/L, and preserved erythrocyte and platelet counts.

In the bone marrow, lymphoid cells constitute 87%, and their features are noteworthy: relatively large size, irregular cytoplasmic borders, irregular nuclear shapes, and indentations.

Diagnosis is ongoing: immunophenotyping is being performed to verify the differentiation lineage.
