The patient is registered with a hematologist with a diagnosis of Waldenström macroglobulinemia.
About a month ago, lymphoproliferation (70%) was noted.
Currently, the CBC shows mild anemia, thrombocytopenia, and an elevated ESR (45 mm/hour).
In the bone marrow aspirate, the lymphoid lineage is not expanded, but lymphocytes with plasmacytoid cytoplasm are present.
