A 60-year-old man with suspected megakaryoblastic leukemia. ✅ Complaints. General symptoms: severe fatigue, weakness, decreased appetite, weight loss. Hemorrhagic syndrome: frequent nosebleeds and gum bleeding, subcutaneous hemorrhages in the form of petechiae and ecchymoses. Anemic syndrome: pallor of the skin and mucous membranes, shortness of breath, dizziness, tachycardia. Objective: hepatosplenomegaly.
🩸 Laboratory data: Complete blood count: ↓Hemoglobin: 67 g/L (anemia). ↑ Leukocytes: 12.6×10⁹/L. ↑ Thrombocytosis.
🔬 Bone marrow: Abundance of small megakaryocytes with active platelet budding (images provided). Megakaryoblasts: 9.9%. Conclusion: The clinical picture, laboratory data, and morphological features of the bone marrow indicate the need for in-depth examination to rule out megakaryocytic leukemia.
