Blast Morphology and Mitotic Figures in Acute Leukemia

🔬 Total blastosis in the field of view, with a clearly visible mitotic figure. Mitosis is a direct morphological sign of high proliferative activity. MORPHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF BLASTS:

  1. Large cells;
  2. Delicate chromatin;
  3. High nucleocytoplasmic ratio;
  4. Absence of signs of mature differentiation.
