In the bone marrow aspirate of a 73-year-old female patient with acute leukemia, the number of ERYTHROCARYOCYTES (65.0%, normal 14.5-26.5%) – normoblasts and megaloblasts of various maturation stages – is sharply increased. In the complete blood count, anemia and leukopenia are observed: RBC 3.35 ×1012/L HGB 105×109/L RDW 1.61×109/L PLT 422×109/L.
