The patient is registered with a hematologist for MDS. In the CBC - anemia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia. In the bone marrow aspirate - signs of dyshematopoiesis in the erythroid and megakaryocytic lineages. Regarding erythropoiesis cells - multinuclearity, megaloblastoid features; aniso- and poikilocytosis of erythrocytes in peripheral blood. A peculiarity of the megakaryocytic lineage is the presence of mono- and binucleated micromegakaryocytes.
