Cytological picture of bone marrow aspirate in anemia: erythroid and megakaryocytic hyperplasia, emperipolesis, and binucleated normoblasts.
Patient with anemia—erythrocytes (2.68), hemoglobin (94). In the bone marrow aspirate, erythroid and megakaryocytic hematopoietic lineages are hyperplastic. In photo 1 – megakaryocyte with emperipolesis, in photo 3 – giant granulocyte, photo 4 – two megakaryocytes, photo 5 – binucleated erythrokaryocytes.
