Acute Myeloid Leukemia: Blasts in Peripheral Blood

A clinical case of acute myeloid leukemia: 87% blasts in a peripheral blood smear, severe anemia, profound thrombocytopenia, and analyzer hemogram.

87% blasts!!! Hemogram data is presented on the last slide. Material - peripheral blood. Patient with acute myeloid leukemia since 2023. Severe anemia (due to the underlying disease and cytostatic treatment). Grade IV thrombocytopenia. Of mixed genesis with hemorrhagic syndrome of the skin and mucous membranes. Comorbid disease - malignant neoplasm of the breast, mastectomy (2005), malignant neoplasm of Paget’s disease of the accessory nipple (excision 2025). The prognosis for such a patient is unfavorable, unfortunately.
