Polychromatophilia in a Peripheral Blood Smear

What polychromatophilia of erythrocytes in a blood smear means: causes of polychromatophils, connection with reticulocytosis and enhanced erythropoiesis.

🔵 “Blue” macrocytes. 🔬Polychromatophilia is a phenomenon in which erythrocytes in a blood smear stain grayish-blue due to an increased content of residual RNA. This is usually associated with enhanced erythropoiesis and the release of young reticulocytes from the bone marrow. Reticulocytes are larger than mature erythrocytes. Their volume is higher, which makes them macrocytic. ❓What else unusual was found in the smear in photo №3? In what conditions is such a blood picture observed?
