🔬 “Hairy” lymphocytes. A female patient with anemia (Hb 58 g/L) and thrombocytopenia (47×10⁹/L). On a peripheral blood smear, stained with Romanowsky, characteristic lymphocytes with irregular “hairy” cytoplasmic projections are observed.

🔍 When lymphocytes grow “hairs”: progressive changes in CBC A 53-year-old male patient. When counting the leukocyte differential, 68% of lymphocytes are “hairy cells”: medium-sized; cytoplasm pale, grey-blue, with projections; nuclei round, chromatin structure homogeneous, smooth.
